Nope, no cheap joke this time. It’s the one good day of the year when you actually don’t have to BUY stuff to celebrate (cheap gizmos to fool your friends don’t really count, they’re optional).
If any of you caught a glimpse of my mysterious message to Jinchi via the blog the other day concerning Shamo translations and got your hopes up, sorry, but Shamo has been dropped. The translator quit and our joint project is officially over. No more Shamo.
But as Bobby Mcferrin had put it, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” as Jinchi finally releases 2 new volumes of Vagabond and KCDS v7. Be sure to go check them out!!!

One of my friends left for South Africa last night, and I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. He got a grant to do some project over there and will be gone for at least 10 months 
Another “acquaintance” (though I’d like to think of him as a friend) went to Europe to do some training (before being shipped off to Iraq for another 12 months) back in February, and I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye either! It’s sad. Wonder if anybody will come say goodbye when I leave this place.
